It’s fall y’all! There are so many fun things to do this time of year and here is a list of some of the local attractions!
The Guadalupe County Fair is coming up from October 6th – 9th at the Seguin Events Complex in Seguin at 950 S. Austin Street. Some of the fun scheduled include a carnival, parade, baby barnyard and more! For a detail schedule and additional information, visit http://www.gcfair.org/
If the cool weather makes you want to enjoy some pumpkins, then look no further than First United Methodist Church in Seguin. The pumpkin patch opens October 1st and will provide lots of beautiful photo opportunities as well as pumpkins of many styles and varieties! If you want to enjoy pumpkins in all their natural glory and the fun festivals that abound this time of year – head on over to Braune Farms Fresh Produce located at 1300 Link Road in Seguin. Check their Facebook page for more details but a tentative date is the 15th and 16th of October. They will have hay rides, face painting, games for the kids, and no admission – just buy some pumpkins! They also have their vegetable stand open on Wednesdays from 3:00 pm until dark and are usually at the Pearl Farmer’s Market on Saturday’s.
If all of this outdoor fun has you chilled and ready for some warm coffee, go by Court Street Coffee in beautiful downtown Seguin. You can warm up with some fall themed drinks with a concoction like Salted Caramel Spice or White Chocolate and Cinnamon! They have some delicious baked goods on hand and a fantastic salad bar! With a great atmosphere and staff, Court Street Coffee will be a great place to warm up after all of your fall themed fun!
